Yoga in Brighton & Hove
The ultimate goal in Holly's yoga class is to clear and control the mind. To develop the ability to be truly connected, from the heart, with ourselves and the changing patterns and energies of the physical and non physical world around us. The classes follow a formal flow with emphasis on the benefits created in the practise.
Throughout the yoga class, Holly goes through a flow of asanas (postures) to help tone, strengthen and increase flexibility. Classes vary but the main flow consists of forward bends, back bends, inversions, twists, balancing and relaxation. Postures throughout the practise benefit us in so many ways from:
- massaging all our organs
- increased flexibility
- increased lubrication of the joints, ligaments, tendon
- excellent for toning
- balances central nervous system
- Self realization
- creates a calmer mind
- creating a continous energy flow
The list is endless.

Vinyasa Flow Yoga
This class is more dynamic than Hatha, the flow is sequenced throughout with the sun salutations and is taught to music. The music is a variety of Indian kirtan, electronic beats, hip hop chilled beats and beachy vibes so the class moves in a flowing and rhythmic way. Some previous yoga experience is required.
This class is excluisve to Studio iO in Brighton and the classes are limited to 4 students for that intimate feel and personal tuiton. The TRX is a great fitness discipline for toning, strength, flexibility and relaxation. With it's tremendous versatility, the TRX suspension trainer is a natural fit with yoga and provides excellent support to allow for more advanced movements. The six week courses will start with working on basic yoga poses using the TRX and will also take time on the Mat for Savasana. This is not suitable for complete beginners to yoga.
